I thought that some of you might be interested in some of my background as a teacher. I have been teaching for 7
years in both the Victoria and Saanich School Districts. I have had contracts at SJ Willis (adult ed), Stelly's, Parkland,
Lansdowne, Oak Bay and Reynolds. I have been lucky enough to be at Reynolds for 5 years now, working mainly in
the flexible studies program. Over the past 7 years I have taught, Math 9, 10, 11 and 12 in both the applications
and principles streams, as well as essentials Math 11. I have also taught Physical Education 9 and 10. This
semester I am teaching two Flex Math 9's, an Applications Math 11 and Physical Education 9 and 10.
On a more personal note, I was raised in Victoria and went throught the school system in the Gordon Head area.
I went to school at Frank Hobbs, Hillcrest, Arbutus, Mount Doug and graduated from Uvic in 2001. I started my Masters
in Education at Uvic this past summer.
